Amy Glen grew up in a musical family on the outskirts of Washington, DC. She started singing as a small child. Even then, she had an amazing gift, singing on family outings and harmonizing perfectly with the music from the car radio. In her teens, Amy split her time between musical theater and picking up the guitar while performing with a small folk group at local venues. .. Her defining songs treat the senses to pleasures that can awaken, mend and nurture the soul. Her voice transcends the ordinary, ranging from an angelic, pristine sound reminiscent of the legendary Eva Cassidy to an edgy blues delivery like that of KT Tunstall. Her performances attract an eclectic group of people of all ages…all devoted to the mesmerizing sounds of Amy Glen. .. Influenced by the sounds of the Eagles, Sheryl Crow and Sarah McLachlan, as a singer, songwriter and guitarist she knew from an early age that she was destined for music. The music she makes is a magical blend of styles ranging from folk to rock to soulful blues. .. One only has to listen to her music to know she has mastered her voice and continues to refine her songwriting skills. Amy Glen just released her first EP: Something To Fear and returned home from her first national tour. She is currently playing with her band “Amy Glen and the Forgotten Heroes” while immersing herself in the music community of Austin, Texas. .. ..
From classical to mainstream. That is what composer Luke Denton has to offer. Mixing his degree in Music Composition with his experience as a respected songwriter, pianist, and record producer, he melds the two musical worlds to create an original soundtrack to any project tossed his way. Having worked with such clients as 20th Century Fox, Bravo Channel, and The Travel Channel, Luke has been able to write an orchestral score to intensify an action scene, immediately turn around and knock out a 70s rock-esque song for a TV theme, break for lunch, and then lay down a quirky commercial jingle. Luke thrives on the challenge to contribute to both the new and eclectic as well as the simple and familiar. His innovative ear combined with his strong work ethic guarantees client satisfaction.
